Priority Space Selection for EXPO PACK México 2018 Available
PMMI is currently accepting space applications for the PMMI Pavilion at EXPO PACK Mexico 2018 on a first-come, first-served basis. The show will be held at Expo Santa Fe Mexico (formerly Expo Bancomer Santa Fe), June 5-8, 2018. As a reminder, EXPO PACK Mexico will be the only EXPO PACK show in Mexico in 2018, so it is a must exhibit event in order to get your products and services in front of Mexican buyers.
The PMMI Pavilion provides a central location for your company to interact with the 23,000+ buyers in attendance. In addition, the PMMI Pavilion offers a discounted space rate, turnkey decoration package, access to private meeting rooms, computers with internet access, a PMMI Member Lounge with complimentary refreshments and dedicated personnel providing on-site assistance.

Online technical training from PMMI U: Basic Electrical Components
PMMI U’s Basic Electrical Components eLearning course explains how electricity works, the laws of electricity, as well as the functionality of electrical components found on packaging machinery. Take a deep-dive into preventive maintenance and acquire the knowledge to identify failures and malfunctions. This three-and-a-half-hour long course concludes with a test.
This course provides core skills, perfect for packaging and processing manufacturers and their customers who are new to the industry. The course also serves as a great refresher for seasoned employees and those re-entering the workforce. PMMI strives to build the industry workforce with technically skilled and well-qualified employees.

Taking Control and Developing the Your Own Skilled Workforce
When Nick Wilson, president, Morrison Container Handling Solutions, realized how tough it was to find qualified engineers, he did something about it. Since 2008, Wilson has been instrumental in forging a public-private partnership with the technology department of Purdue University Northwest to develop the Mechatronics Engineering Technology program.
